Kariculture.club to get together the big Caribbean family

We are more than 40 million Caribbean islanders who are scattered over territories with various status (Independent States, Free Associated States, Overseas Territories, Overseas Collectivities, Overseas Department, Autonomous but not independent Territories…). Our populations are so close geographically and historically but they became distant by political decisions. Our faces often look alike and there are many similarities in our rich cultures, unfortunately, we do not meet a lot because we tend to look rather towards the European and American continents.

Several brakes as the language and the transport prevent us from talking to each other and from meeting us but we have to overcome them.

In the past, some of us had what was called a correspondent (girl or boy) who was the same age as them with whom they exchanged letters and pictures by post to talk about their live and to know the life of their  new friend.

Today, it is the digital age, almost everything is computerized and is online.

KARICULTURE.CLUB decided to put in touch the inhabitants of all the Caribbean islands whatever their language, their age, their profession, their education, their religion, their hobbies etc.

To help you to know better the Caribbean islands before you put an advertisement or respond to an advertisement, this website publishes :

  • a short presentation of the 30 Caribbean States and Territories in 3 languages (English, French and Spanish), which are, moreover, the three official languages of the Association of Caribbean States
  • a trilingual quiz on each of these islands that means more than 900 questions that are rather based on history to help you to understand where we come from but this list will be enriched gradually with other questions in very varied fields
  • beautiful photos of our wonderful islands. On that subject, I would like to thank all the Ministries of Tourism and Tourist Offices in the Caribbean which spontaneously provided KARICULTURE hundreds of pictures what not only shows their professionalism but especially the innate sense of welcome of the Caribbean people.

This new trilingual internet platform to put in touch the peoples of the Caribbean does not have the objective to compete with the major social networks like Facebook, it is only a necessary medium to build up and strengthen bond between our islands which have a common history that we do not know.

With KARICULTURE.CLUB, we hope to create beautiful friendships, rich exchanges in every field (education, sport, arts, cooking etc.) and, why not, fruitful collaborations in terms of business.

Finally, KARICULTURE.CLUB is closely linked with KARICULTURE.NET which is a trilingual web magazine dedicated to culture and heritage in the Caribbean islands, an essential passport for a better fraternity between our peoples.
